A Guide To The Best Wedding Venues in Cincinnati By A Cincinnati Wedding Photographer

FIRST OFF, WELCOME! Are you a Cincy Bride-To-Be looking for the perfect venue to start forever? You’ve come to the right spot! I was a bride once, so I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed when looking for venues, but no need to worry because I’ve got you covered!

If we haven’t met, Hi, I’m Shayla— a Cincinnati Wedding + Elopement Photographer who has photographed countless weddings in the Cincinnati area! Get to know me more HERE. Trust me, I’ve seen it all. Every venue in Cincy has its own vibe, style and of course, price! Depending on what is priority to YOU, you’ll definitely want to choose wisely! Or if you’re like me, you’ll just say “F it!” and elope :)

I’m breaking down which venue might be best for you depending on what vibe you’re going for! Keep scrolling to see which Cincinnati venue I think might be perfect for you!

FOR THE WHIMSICAL BRIDE

Best venue for you: The Marmalade Lily

The Marmalade Lily is a family owned flower farm wedding venue, where you can even pick your own florals for your special day! Located outside of the city in Loveland, Ohio, this venue is the perfect mix of whimsical and romantic! There’s a beautiful barn for the indoor reception, outdoor patio, a gorgeous pond nestled near the ceremony site, and so much more! If this sounds right up your alley, take a peek into all the details of this venue here.

FOR THE “PLANT MOM” BRIDE

Best venue for you: Benkens Greenhouse

If you’re obsessed with plants (like me!) and picture yourself saying your vows surrounded by an abundance of greenery…look no further! Benkens Greenhouse is the perfect spot for your intimate ceremony and reception. With indoor/outdoor space to work with, it is such a special little spot! When I first walked into the ceremony space, I was truly blown away by how cozy and romantic it was! These two pictures above chose the space because they are plant-lovers + biologists who wanted to incorporate the Earth into their wedding day…how gorgeous! Checkout more info about Benkens Greenhouse here.

FOR THE BOHO OBSESSED BRIDE

Best venue for you: Mojave East

Looking for West Coast vibes in the heart of Cincinnati? This is your spot! Mojave East is a newer wedding venue nestled in Newtown with plenty to offer! Industrial vibes inside with rustic vibes outside, this place has endless options for your wedding day! I’ve seen this venue decorated various ways, and I seriously can’t pick a favorite! You just have to see it for yourself… more info about Mojave East here.

FOR THE COUNTRY CHIC BRIDE

Best venue for you: Stone Valley Meadows

Tucked away in Franklin, Ohio sits Stone Valley Meadows— a gorgeous barn venue with plenty of outdoor space for saying your vows, gathering with family, or gorgeous photos (my favorite part!) I’ve been to this beautiful venue various times, and each time I leave I know that the bride + groom had the time of their lives! It truly is a special spot. A huge perk of this venue is that the staff at Stone Valley are inviting and truly make you feel like home! If you’re a country girl at heart but desire a touch of elegance for your day, this venue would be perfect for you! Read a little more info about this beautiful venue here.

FOR THE WINE OBSESSED BRIDE

Best venue for you: Skeleton Root Winery

Nestled in historic OTR, Skeleton Root perfect for the low-key bride looking to sip fresh wine from the barrels on her wedding day! With industrial touches and brick walls throughout, there is so much charm! It’s also perfect for getting married in a season where the weather is unpredictable—all indoors and cozy atmosphere! Learn more about Skeleton Root and all it has to offer for your special day here.

FOR THE ADVENTUROUS BRIDE

Best venue for you: Literally anywhere!

If you’re like me, you grew up never dreaming of a big, fancy wedding. What’s more exciting than traveling with your lover and saying your vows next to the mountains, beach or even a lighthouse! The sky is the limit. In fact, I wrote an entire blog about why eloping is wayyyy more chill than having a big wedding anyways, which you can read here. The choice is up to you — but I believe you should do whatever YOU want for the most important day of your life!
I’d love to come with you + document every little moment!
