Hey friend! I’m so happy you’ve made it to my little corner of the world. I’m Shayla Brown, a destination wedding + elopement photographer based in Ohio. I’m always striving to create art, and my photography style is all about authentic, raw and emotional storytelling through imagery. I love playing with shadows and capturing the candid moments.
My life motto has always been to enjoy the little things. Morning rain, the first sip of coffee, the smell of fresh laundry. I’m a homebody at heart, but always up for an adventure! I’m passionate about non toxic living, hike whenever I get the chance, and pray I can have 30 acres of land one day!

When I photograph a couple’s special day, my goal is to tell their love story in a way that feels honest and authentic to them. That’s a momentous responsibility and one that I do not take lightly.
My top priority is to honor the trust my couples place in me to preserve the memories of their day beautifully and honestly. So sit back, relax, and just be yourselves — I’ll take care of the rest! The end result will be a collection of breathtaking photographs that you and your family will be able to treasure forever.

Since starting my wedding business in 2021, I have photographed over 75 weddings! By the end of 2025, I will have photographed over 100!
